What are some of the activities of Casa Franciscan Mission?
- Friars along with Friars of the Junipero Serra province, bring Liturgy and Eucharist to about twelve Chapels.
- Fr. Elias Galvez, OFM, provides Pastoral services to those incarcerated at the local prison.
- The Meson de Jesus (soup kitchen) feeds a nutritious breakfast and noon-day meal to hundreds daily.
- Free health care and pharmaceuticals are provided at the Medical Clinic.
- A complete Dental Clinic offers free treatment and preventive care.
- Donated shoes and clothing are made available free, or at minimal cost.
- Scholarship programs provide financial aid for elementary, junior high, high school, and college.
- Social workers provide assistance throughout the colonias.
- Casa de Junipero Serra (guest house) welcomes visitors and volunteers.
