The Franciscan Tree of Life project (FTOL) came about from our observations that our mission is similar to a beautiful tree that, thanks to over 50 years of nurturing, bears good fruit and provides shelter and protection for all who are near it.

OUR ministries


The Mission's extensive programs address the needs of marginalized populations in Guaymas, focusing on four of the poorest neighborhoods, serving around 10,000 people. Our programs grow each year thanks to generous donations like yours.

Service Pilgrimage

If you are seeking an affordable opportunity to renew or deepen your relationship with God and witness the work Casa Franciscana does in Guaymas, join our pilgrimage. You will have the opportunity to work alongside fellow pilgrims helping people and learning about our various programs. These trips are 3-4 days and occur twice a year (spring and fall).
