SERVICE PILGRIMAGE

"Remember that when you leave this earth, you can take with you
nothing you have received--only what you have given."

-St. Francis of Assisi

All means of generosity to the program stimulate change in the lives of our brothers and sisters. However, when one experiences the Mission firsthand through a service trip to Guaymas, it is the life of the volunteer that is forever transformed.

TESTIMONIALS

"I went alone but I met many great people, not only the people on the mission but the great people of Casa Franciscana. We worked, prayed and played together and completed the projects planned. I wish I could stay longer but God willing I will make the trip again. I came back more energized than when I left." - Bobbe V.

"This experience changed me. While I went with the intention to do things and accomplish projects, I also learned the value of...being present with others in their struggles and taking time to hear their stories is equally important....You definitely learn to see the Holy Spirit in the unlikeliest of places. I’m grateful for this renewed awareness, and to Fr. Martín and CFO staff who hosted us." - Tim C.

"The leaders made everything run smoothly and the entire staff at Casa Franciscana was warm, inviting and thankful for our service. It was a WONDERFUL experience!" – Kathy S.
