Linda joined the Board of Casa Franciscana Outreach in early 2024, shortly after retiring from a 40-year career in public health and law. She began her career as a science and math teacher with the U.S. Peace Corps in Sabah, Malaysia, and then spent 20 years in the Washington, D.C. area working at Johns Hopkins School of Public Health, the Institute of Medicine, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and several national non-profit organizations.

After moving to Phoenix in 2004, she founded a national non-profit organization dedicated to helping smokers quit and led the organization for 20 years. Linda began attending Mass at the Franciscan Renewal Center in 2004 and became familiar with the beautiful work being done in Guaymas, Mexico through Casa Franciscana Outreach. She feels blessed to help support the organization as a member of the Board.
