A New Christmas Tradition: Prayer for Opening Gifts

Lord, let us hold this time in our hearts, the wrong sizes, the snippets of ribbon and most important, being together.

Help us to remember the immense love you have for each person in this room.

With every gift we open, no matter how perfect or imperfect, let us remember the many ways you gift us each day.

Let these gifts we share also remind us of the greatest gift of love you have given to us, your Son Jesus Christ, our Savior.

We also remember those in need at the Casa Franciscana Mission and around the world.

Guide us to share our prayers and blessings with them. Amen.
