Memorial Day Prayer

On this Memorial Day, we pray for those who courageously laid down their lives for the cause of freedom.  May the examples of their sacrifice inspire in us the selfless love of Your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ.

We pray for God to bless the families of those who have lost loved ones while serving our great nation and fill their homes and lives with His strength and peace.  We pray for Him to bless and comfort the wounded who are with us, and bless their families as well. Let us remember their sacrifice and the precious gift of freedom every day, especially in these turbulent and uncertain times.
